Hello and welcome to the newly redecorated living room of "We're Very Sorry About This..." - that somewhat bizarre glimpse into a Britain that no longer exists, except in our minds - So if you'd like to take off your jam spattered wellington slippers and slip out of something more comfortable, then you may continue to read down this page. If you don't slip out, well, read on anyway, because we're nice.

the volume covers
Well, here you can find covers for all 3 volumes, as well as some miscellaneous, old volume artwork that we found lying around. We've even sorted everything into chronological order so you can follow the development of the artwork of VSAT. Don't forget, do tell us what you think of it, and not just the artwork, everything in general. Feedback is very important to us. [email protected] is the address, come on, don't be shy.

The Search for the Yeti
As the first episode written (indeed, it was intended as a stand-alone programme, see history for more information) Maitiu Corbett did a cover of the episode. And so we are all treated to what Mat thinks a Yeti looks like... (note, as the only file I could find is the finished one, ready-sized for putting in CD boxes, there are no enlargable views available for this cover).

Despite not being intended as a basis for the series, several of the key themes of other volume covers can be seen here. The Union Jack in the background brought through the British theme (and has thus featured on the back of every volume cover ever made) whilst the orange on white of "weird studios - why not?" (the first name we thought of for ourselves) was to be used as a basis for the cover of Volume 1, which of course, was orange on white. Clever no?

An early cariacture/characte sketch of Chris Allan/Kit Balloon is in the bottom right, (drawn by the fair hand of Maitiu Corbett) but more interesting is the Yeti - I think a round of applause is called for...
