Hello and welcome to the newly redecorated living room of "We're Very Sorry About This..." - that somewhat bizarre glimpse into a Britain that no longer exists, except in our minds - So if you'd like to take off your jam spattered wellington slippers and slip out of something more comfortable, then you may continue to read down this page. If you don't slip out, well, read on anyway, because we're nice.

new look, new website, new VSAT
After an annoyingly frustrating gap in our production timeline (certain mitigating factors meant that work on VSAT had to halt for a while) we're back up and running. A new look website coincides quite nicely with a new VSAT, and we hope you prefer the new versions of both. Tired of the old black colour scheme (and to be blunt, somewhat clunky coding) of the old site we've spruced up the place with a white background, some new pictures, and all the sections of the site. So take a look around, re-acquaint yourself with the website (see "new site rundown" further down this page) and you can congratulate or castigate us at [email protected].

"All very well," I telepathically hear you say, "but what's all this about a new VSAT?" Well, ladies and gentlemen, there is a proper bona fide third member of the VSAT team. Neil Carmichael heard the show, loved it, and then told us so in such a funny voice that we thought we could share his genius with you. Thus Neil will not be involved as heavily in the writing or editing sides of the VSAT experience, but will provide a valid contribution to the comedic acting. For those of you wanting to hear some of Neil's work, you will find quotes and audio clips of some of his lines here on the website, so don't be afraid to browse around!

Episode 6: "The Monopoly Curse" is gestating...

another episode is in the can
Well, forsooth and all that but Volume 2 is now complete! Hooray! The Great Toothsack had the last touches put on just before we had our slight hiatus in production. Still, Volume 3 is now under way, with episode 5: "King Kit's New Bathtub" now half-recorded and semi-edited. This will be Neil's first show with the team so we hope you like it. We certainly do, with both Mat and myself agreeing that this will be the best show yet.

There's now a few highlights from Act 1 and Act 2 up on the site, so if you need your VSAT fix go and have a search for it. Normally I'd direct you straight there, but I want you to have to search through the site, so you can then e-mail and tell me what you think of the new website and, more importantly, point out the many flaws that are probably lurking around corners in the code. There are bound to be some. Let us know at [email protected].Thanks a lot for bothering to stick with us through all this upheaval - I do hope the news site meets, matches and indeed exceeds your expectations.

episode 6 commences, albeit slowly and with the help of a stairlift
Episode 6 has been started. That much you could probably have guessed from the title of the news item, but hey, what's a little dumbing down between friends? "The Monopoly Curse" (pictured left with "The Great Toothsack of 1899") as it has been christened shall hopefully maintain the high standard you've come to expect from us these days.

We can't promise anything, and with our SQA Higher Exams coming up, things could be tricky, but Volume 3 (with "King Kit's New Bathtub" and "The Monopoly Curse") should be completed by the end of the summer. But that's not a guarantee, so you can't sue us. Nyaah!

new site rundown
Ok, right, if you haven't taken the ample hints I've already given to you to have a look around the new site, I suppose I'm going to have to explain what each section is/does and what you may possibly find there. I'm too good to you people, I really am.
